SB 3.12.13-16

 Text 13: O Rudra, you also have eleven wives, called the Rudrāṇīs, and they are as follows: Dhī, Dhṛti, Rasalā, Umā, Niyut, Sarpi, Ilā, Ambikā, Irāvatī, Svadhā and Dīkṣā.

Text 14: My dear boy, you may now accept all the names and places designated for you and your different wives, and since you are now one of the masters of the living entities, you may increase the population on a large scale.

Text 15: The most powerful Rudra, whose bodily color was blue mixed with red, created many offspring exactly resembling him in features, strength and furious nature.

Text 16: The sons and grandsons generated by Rudra were unlimited in number, and when they assembled together they attempted to devour the entire universe. When Brahmā, the father of the living entities, saw this, he became afraid of the situation.

Śrīdhara Svāmi-kṛtā Bhāvārtha-dīpikā Vyākhyā

With a wife, with a female companion. Create progeny endowed with these abodes and names. [14] * * Sattva is strength, form is blue-red color, nature is intensity with that. [15] * * Seeing the herds of Rudras, he became apprehensive there, he attained apprehension. [16] [17]

Śrī Vaṃśīdhara-kṛtā Bhāvārtha-dīpikā Prakāśa Vyākhyā

O Rudra, these Rudrāṇīs are your wives. [13] * * Tīrtha however - reading "sapoṣaṇa", explains poṣaṇā as wife, saying "she nourishes the duties of a householder with this". [14] * * By the guru father Brahmā. [15] * Yūthāni (herds) is masculine according to the ṛṣis. [16]

Śrī Rādhā Ramaṇa dāsa Gosvāmi Viracitā Dīpanī Vyākhyā

Equal to oneself, having equal strength etc. [15] * Countless, innumerable. [16]

Śrīmad Vīrarāghava Vyākhyā

Dhī and others are the Rudrāṇīs, those eleven, O Rudra, are your wives. [13] * * With a wife, with a female companion - accept these names and abodes. Endowed with these abodes and names, create many progeny together with these wives, since by creating progeny you also become the lord of progeny. [14] * * Instructed by the guru father in the manner stated - Bhagavān, knowledgeable about creation, dissolution etc., Nīlalohita Kumāra, with sattva, form and nature - sattva is the form of which, with that sāttvika nature, created progeny himself. [15] * * Seeing countless herds of Rudras created by Rudra Nīlalohita Kumāra, who were devouring the entire universe all around, Prajāpati became apprehensive - this is the meaning. [16]

Śrīmad Vijayadhvaja Tīrtha-kṛtā Pada Ratnāvalī Vyākhyā

The Rudrāṇīs are Rudra's wives, given to you - this is implied. [13] * * Sapoṣaṇam is an adverbial modifier, she nourishes the duties of a householder with this, thus poṣaṇā means wife. You are the lord of progeny, because you become that, you also attain lordship over them. [14] * * By the guru Brahmā, sattva-form means virile form, sattva is strength, form is body, by nature with qualities like fierceness etc., equal to oneself. [15-17]
